Hey guys! Welcome back. I truly believe that everyone is addicted to something. Some people are addicted to cigarettes, alcohol, chocolate, shopping, etc. Everyone has an addiction. We often judge those who give their lives for something that seems pointless, but we are all guilty of going to extreme measures for our addiction.

Addiction is a part of life. It’s not one of the good parts, but it is there nonetheless. We struggle all the time with our addictions. We live in a society that encourages addiction. The advertisements and pressures of peers to do things that are “socially acceptable”. We fall trap to being sucked into to this mediocre life of possessions and money. We always need the nicest cars and the newest phones. But isn’t that kind of petty?

We are all addicted to something and we need to stop. I myself am guilty of being addicted of many things and I’m a little ashamed to admit it. Society tells us that all of these addictions make us happier, but I think it’s more draining than anything. We need to live a life of peace and happiness. And that happiness doesn’t come from the things you buy or the places you go. It’s in yourself.

We need to learn to be content with what we have. Our addictions are making us weak and selfish. Addiction isn’t good and society is using our addictions to make money and become rich. We need to say no and turn away. Take back control of your life and stop feeding your addiction, whatever it is.
