Short Blog Posts: My Opinion

Hey guys! Welcome back. Let me start by saying everyone is entitled to their opinion. But if everyone can share theirs, I feel I should share mine as well. Just in case some of you out their feel the same way I do and need validation in what you are doing.

I am a college student. I go to school full time, I have a part-time job, I am a part of several religious groups here on campus, and I have just started my own club. And as of now, I can say I am proud of my blog’s accomplishments.

I do write shorter posts most of the time. I do like to make my points and move on. Blogging is not my full-time job. I blog because I love it and people seem to really benefit from it. I don’t do it to become popular or get a lot of views or followers. Those are just benefits. I started this because I just wanted to my thoughts and feelings into writing. It ended up growing into something even better and I am grateful for that, but my posts do well all on their own.

I don’t feel the need to make my posts extremely long. I don’t know how anyone could benefit from my rambling on about whatever I am talking about or whatever I have to say. My blog in neither lame or mediocre. It is growing by the day and I am extremely proud of how far it has come. I am also incredibly grateful for my followers and the people that have supported this and encouraged and helped it grow to what it is today.

So if you are the same way, if your posts are shorter in length, don’t be discouraged. We all have busy lives. Write because you love it and you have something to say. Don’t compare yourself or your blog to others. Just be you and the people that appreciate your blog will keep coming back.

Thank you so much for reading this! Comment below your thoughts and what you think about the topic. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

I like to do a mixture of short and long blog posts, but sometimes the shorter ones are my favourite to do and people seem to like them because they deliver something useful in a much shorter space of time. And it’s a great way to spread our message when we have other external commitments! Love this x
