The world has become full of tragedy as of late. So many terrible things have happened in recent months that have been overlooked or ceased significance because of the Kardashian Family and all the pregnancies. Having babies is a beautiful thing and should be celebrated. However, there are more important things that deserve and need our focus than ¬†celebrity family’s pregnancy rates.

1. The earthquake in Mexico.

There are victims of the earthquake that are still buried alive We need to be focusing our attention to helping these victims and the people looking for them.

2. Climate Change.

It is happening whether you see it or not. It’s not happening as rapidly as we are often led to believe by the media, but it is still happening nonetheless. We need to be taking action and fighting the change.

3. Flint, Michigan.

Flint has been without clean water for over two years. Why are we not helping them?

4. Hurricane Maria.

The aftermath of the hurricane in Puerto Rico is still being dealt with. They need our help and support.

5. Trump vs. Sports Associations.

The NFL and the NBA specifically. For whatever reason our President is more concerned with a feud with Sports Nation than with actual political issues. George Washington is turning in his grave.

6. The growing tension between the United States and North Korea.

Come on guys. This one is a huge deal. We should all be a little more focused on this than the happenings in pop culture. Just being honest.

7. The terrorist attack in Jerusalem.

Terrorism is a huge issue, not just in our country but all around the world.

8. Republicans trying to repeal and replace Obamacare.

So many people depend on the Affordable Care Act and Republicans are trying to take that away. We need to be concerned.

The point of all of this was to make a point that we need to be more focused and educated on the happenings of world events that on which celebrities are having babies. There are so many other, more significant things that are going on. Our attention needs to be given to those who need us.
