Hey guys! Welcome back. This post is the recap from tonight’s episode of The Bachelor. So many things happened. So many people went home just out of the blue. There were some very shocking moments, and some not so shocking moments.
First, the first group date was intense. They were wrestling and a few girls cried. I can’t blame them, I probably would have too. But some girls were into it and it all really worked out in the end. It seemed like everyone had at least a little bit of fun. Bekah M. got the group date rose (no shocker there).
Next was the one-on-one date. One of the Laurens went on this date. They went to Wine Country in Napa Valley. She was totally awkward the entire time. She kept saying, “she wasn’t being herself”. She even called herself out on it to Arie. It was kind of hilarious. She did not get the rose on this date, but there was a bunch of foreshadowing here. First, she kept talking about how nervous she was about not getting the rose. They also showed her carrying her suitcase down the stairs before she left for the date. Arie was not at all interested during their dinner. He actually looked a little peeved and annoyed. Also, he was EATING! They’re not allowed to do that! Him eating was just one more sign that it wasn’t going to end well. She went home, but wasn’t all that devastated about it.
Next was another group date. They played with dogs, which is honestly probably one of the best dates. Unless you are afraid of dogs, like Annaliese. She apparently had some kind of like traumatic experience with dogs growing up. Chelsea got the group date rose.
The cocktail party was a whirlwind of emotions. Arie still hadn’t kissed Annaliese, but had kissed literally every other girl. When she confronted him about it, he said he just didn’t think they were there yet. Kind of a slap in the face, but that’s that. He actually ended up sending her home during the cocktail party. She never made it to the rose ceremony. He said he just didn’t think there was any potential for them in the future, and I have to say, I definitely agree.
The rose ceremony was a little weird. Since two girls had already been sent home, there was only one sent home during the rose ceremony. It was Bibiana. I love her, but I just didn’t see them together. I don’t see him with most of the girls though, so we will see how it all works out. Here is who is left.
