Hey guys! Welcome back. College is hard. We have a lot of things to get done, places to be, people to see, etc. It can often take a toll on us mentally and physically. It’s sometimes hard to see that light at the end of the long tunnel. But I promise if you stick with it, you will be glad you did.
Finding motivation and keeping it sometimes isn’t the easiest of things to do. Especially when you are so close to being done, yet so far away. The end of the year is always the hardest because you sometimes feel like you will never get there.
Oh, but you will.
The important thing to remember is why you are here in the first place. Keep in mind why you are here and what you are working for. If that doesn’t motivate you even a little bit, it may be time to look into changing some things. Whether it’s your college, your major, or something else try to find something that will motivate you and go about changing your direction.
Another way to get motivated is to get involved. Because if you are passionate about something you will be motivated. So find things on campus that will help get you motivated and inspired. If there is nothing that excites you, start something. It’s a lot easier than it sounds.
Don’t be afraid to talk to people. Having a support group is absolutely essential in college. Having good friends who care and encourage you is a huge part of that. So make sure you have good friends who aren’t leading you down the wrong path.
College is difficult, but it definitely isn’t impossible. Keep your head help high and keep pushing through. I promise you will get there.
