May 2018 Favorites

Hey guys! Welcome back. May was a crazy month for me. Between finals week, moving back home for the summer, and all the personal stuff that has been going on, it’s hard to see how I made it through. But I survived and even managed to find quite a few new favorites (and old favorites) to share with you. I always love mentioning things that I am still loving even if I have mentioned it in a post before because I feel like that’s how you know something is good. I tend to buy something if I hear multiple people talk about it multiple times. So I do have some old favorites to share with you, but I am excited to share with you what I have been loving in the month of May. So if you are excited to see what these things were just keep reading.

The first thing is the Colourpop X Kathleenlights Dream St. Palette. I love this eyeshadow palette so much. It’s great to travel with because you have all the shades you would need with some fun colors as well. I have been using it everyday since I got it and I love it. It’s 12 shades for $16, so it’s a pretty great deal. Definitely worth checking out. Also, if you didn’t know Kathleen is a YouTuber so you should go subscribe to her channel because she is amazing. She has her own nail polish line (KL Polish). Check that out too!

Another thing I have been loving is the Milani 12-Hour Stay Put Liquid Liner. It is a really great liquid liner. It’s super black and matte. It is a felt tip liner and I absolutely adore it. It works really well and is super smooth.

The next product is also from Milani. It is the Blush Trio. This blush palette is amazing. The shades are beautiful, the formula is perfection, and the pigment is flawless. These are easily the best blushes I have ever tried.

The next product is again from Milani. I think this is the last one. It is the Rose Oil. This stuff is incredible. It makes my face super hydrated, but it doesn’t make my makeup slide around or transfer. It actually makes my makeup last a little longer. It smells really great and is just an all around great product to have on hand if you have dry skin.

I do quickly want to shout out the Milani Primer with SPF 30. It is my favorite primer.

Next we have the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gentle Cleansing Lotion and the Multivitamin Booster. These products are phenomenal. I have noticed such a huge difference since I started using these products. My skin is smoother and more hydrated. I love both of these. They are kind of expensive for drugstore products, but I think they are 100% worth the money.

I still use the Maybelline Fit Me concealer and powders. They are holy grail products for me that I know work so I continue to use them. I also still use the Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette because it is also really great and never lets me down.

Now on to song favorites. I discovered so many this month (thank you Spotify).
