Back To School Makeup Routine

Hey guys! Welcome back. I know I am posting a lot, but that’s because I am trying to fit a lot into what little time I have left so that when I go back to school I’m not constantly worried about if I will have enough time to get these posts out to you. Today I am going to share with you my very basic back to school makeup routine. I am going to tell you the products I use and how I use them. The only thing that might be different is the foundation and the blush. Everything else will typically be the same. If you are interested in this and want to see my makeup routine for back to school just keep reading!

Primer: As I say in pretty much all my beauty posts, primer is extremely important. I put this on before I do anything else. I use the Milani Prime & Perfect Primer with SPF 30.

Foundation: For foundation I typically use the Wet n’ Wild Photo Focus Foundation. I reach for this one the most because it is a really great foundation, it lasts a long time, and it has a spatula which makes for super quick application for those busy mornings.

Concealer: I like to use my Maybelline Fit Me because it is hydrating and covers what I need it to. I will use whatever concealer I find first though because they all work really well. I don’t keep concealers I don’t love.

Powder: To set all of my makeup I use the powder that is in the Smashbox Cali Contour Palette. I will use this product again several times, so I just keep it out.

Eyebrows: I use my E.L.F. eyebrow pencil in the shade Taupe and I just fill in my eyebrows as needed. I don’t try to make them perfect.

Contour: I don’t always do this, but if I feel like I want to do it I use the contour powder that is in the Smashbox Palette.

Bronzer: For bronzer I use my Essence Matte Bronzer. I find that the bronzer in the Smashbox Palette is just a little too intense for everyday (although it is a really great bronzer), so I get out my Essence Bronzer.

Eyeshadow: I also use my Essence Bronzer as my eyeshadow for the day instead of getting a palette out. I just throw this in my crease and a little on my lid.

Mascara: I like to use the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara because it volumizes my lashes and because I don’t wear eyeliner most of the time I need my lashes to really pop.

Blush: For blush I pull out any blush because for a look this simple, I think any blush would look nice. If I’m really rushing I will just use the blush in the Smashbox Palette.

Highlight: I highlight my cheek bones, my inner corners, and under my eyebrows with the light highlight in the Smashbox Palette. It’s a really great highlight and it’s already there so I stick with it.

That’s basically all I do. Sometimes I add a lip color if I want, but most of the time I forget. I did time this and it takes me exactly ten minutes if I do all of this. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
