Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am going to share with you how I prioritize my life. As a college student I know that I struggle to keep things together and get things done. So I know that I need to organize my life and create a structure that works for. This is what helps me grow and accomplish all that I accomplish as successfully as I can.
The first thing I know I have had to work on (and am still working on) is knowing when to say yes and when to say no. Sometimes I just want to say yes to every opportunity that comes my way. However, when I do that I overwhelm myself and it creates too much for me today. So I have really had to learn when to pass on opportunities to focus on the things I really care about. If something is a “no”, it’s not a priority.
I prioritize my classes first because for me it is the most important thing. It’s why I’m here and I intend to do the very best I can. So I always write out my assignments, papers, and anything else class related I have coming up and make those the first priority.
I do have a job and I need to do that job. So I prioritize this next. I figure out when I need to be there and how long, etc. This way I know what time I have left. This includes time spent working, time planning for my job, helping people, etc. This is an on-campus job so it’s something that is a constant in my life.
As most of you may know I started a business. It’s been pretty great so far. I’m still working on things and trying to get it all figured out. But I do make this a priority. I want to work on it and help it grow so I intend to prioritize it as often as possible.
Planning is super important to me. I always need to know exactly what I am doing in order to be prepared. If it’s planned, it’s on my calendar. If there are things that are on my to-do list, but aren’t on my calendar, it means they aren’t part of the plan yet
Faith is a super important part of my life and I really do need to do better at making this a priority. But it is a part of my routine to have that time set aside so I can focus on it and grow spiritually.
This is another thing that I could probably do better at prioritizing, however, it is prioritized today so we are doing good. I’m actually doing my workout right after I post this. So hopefully I keep going and keep making it a priority.
It is a priority, but it’s low on the list. There are just so many things going on that I sometimes have to sacrifice it. However, I do know that there are times when I need to make it a priority.
Those are the things I prioritize and how I manage that. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did.
