Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a good week. I know that especially as college students, we can sometimes feel a little stuck. We can start to feel like we are in a rut and we get a little unmotivated to get things done. So today I want to talk to you about things you can do if you are feeling unmotivated. Hopefully this gives you some motivation and gets you moving on whatever you need to do.

Reevaluate your goals.

Maybe you are unmotivated because you aren’t interested in pursuing your goals anymore. Maybe you need to go back and evaluate what you are working towards and figure out where to go from there. We tend to not have the desire to work on things that we aren’t interested in.

Relax and refresh.

Sometimes we get unmotivated when we are stressed and there is too much going on. So I recommend clearing your mind and cleaning your space. Go for a walk, take a break, focus on something else. Clean your room so you aren’t dealing with any clutter. Come back to a fresh mind and a fresh work space.

Ask for guidance.

One of the most difficult things for me to do is ask for help. But sometimes it’s what is needed. Sometimes we need to ask people for help and advice. Ask people who have been through what you are going through or you know might be able to help you. If you are confused or having trouble ask questions. It’s the quickest way to a solution.

Always remember it’s okay to change.

It’s okay to change your mind. It’s okay to change your location. It’s okay to want to try something new. That’s how you learn. Maybe where you are isn’t working for you so you feel unmotivated. If that’s the case, move. You have the ability. Don’t let anyone stand in the way and don’t stand in your own way.
