Ways To Declutter Your Mind

Hey guys! Welcome back. Most of us have mind clutter. It’s a struggle to keep up sometimes. It can often cause us to feel restless and unfocused. I know this is something I have been struggling with recently. I keep trying to go in all these different directions and I struggle to understand what I am putting myself through. Sometimes I need to take a time out and get rid of some of the clutter. While I’m doing that, I figured I would give you my tips and you can declutter as well.

Declutter your physical space. This is a major one. Everyone knows a cluttered space is a cluttered mind. So clean your room, your house, or wherever it is you do most of your work. Keep things clean and organized to help you keep your mind at ease.

Write things down. I like to write down all the things I need to do, all the ideas I have, and all the things going on in my life because there is no way my mind can keep them straight. I like to keep several different notebooks for these things to keep them organized and so I know where I need to go for what.

Let go of the past. This is a difficult one for me, but I have found that in order to really focus and be happy I need to let things go. All of those bad things are just taking up space in my mind and it’s just best to move on and save space for the things that matter.

Stop multi-tasking. Work on one thing at a time. That way you aren’t trying to keep up with where you are on everything you are trying to do. It’s always best to just do one thing at a time.

Be decisive. Know what you want and go after it. Don’t try to hold on to all these decisions you have to make. If you need to make a decision, make it. If you don’t, your mind will start overflowing with all the decisions you have to make and it won’t make anything any easier for you.

Prioritize. I say this all the time, but priorities are so important. It is absolutely essential to know what you have to do. This way you know what you need to do first and what can wait. Priorities help keep you focused and on track.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like this if you did. Let us know in the comments how you like to declutter your mind. Also let me know what you would like to see from me in the future. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
