Hey guys! Welcome back. I wanted to do a little blog update for you guys because we recently reached 400 followers. I will also be hosting another Q&A so leave your questions below. Today I want to share with you the things I have learned about blogging, including what to do and what not to do.

Do create a blog that is meaningful to you. Don’t be one of those people who just write about things that everyone wants to read. Make sure it’s about something you are passionate about and will be motivated to keep up with.

Do have goals. Don’t set forth without any goals. Have something you are working towards. Whether it is eventually making it into a career, building a portfolio, or just wanting to express yourself, you need some kind of goals.

Do make blogging friends. Your real life friends may not understand blogging and that’s okay. That’s why it is important to build a community of bloggers so you can support each other and grow together.

Do read others’ blogs. Most inspiration and help comes from studying someone else. Reading someone else’s work might inspire you to try something new or you might learn that something isn’t effective.

Do show your true personality. Be yourself. That is what is the most engaging when it comes to creating any kind of content.

Don’t be afraid. Publish your content. Don’t worry so much about numbers and followers. Just write and publish and you’ll get where you want to be the right way.

Don’t compare yourself to others. You are you and that is enough.

Don’t expect to make money right away. You probably won’t.

Don’t neglect others’ thoughts. Pay attention to comments and when other people tag you in things.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Be sure to comment your questions about anything down below. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
