Eyeshadow Tutorial: Smokey ft. Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Dark Magic

Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am going to share with you how to get a smokey eyeshadow look with the Dark Magic Palette by Jaclyn Hill. This is a really great palette with fun colors. Since it is so close to Halloween, this is a fun palette for the holiday. Today I am going to do kind of a basic smokey eye with the palette.

First I prime my eyelids with concealer. I find that with these palettes I need a base under them because these are so pigmented and having a base kind of helps them stand out and blend better. I set the primer with the lightest matte shade called Poof.

Then I put the shade Shhh in my crease. I go over it a couple of time to make sure it’s really blended and looks soft.

Next I take the shade Mojo and put that right below the transition shade. I go lightly and build it up until I get the look the way I want it. After that I take Shhh and blend it out. Then I go back and forth with Mojo and Shhh adding and blending.

Then I take the shade Temptress and I apply this on the outer corner to deepen up the look and add dimension. I blend it out with Shhh so there aren’t any harsh lines.

After that, I take the shade Power Cut and apply that to the lid with my finger. I make it as vibrant as I want it to be. I typically apply two layers. Then I add a bit more Temptress to the outer corner and blend the two shades together with no extra product on the brush I used to apply Shhh.

And that is how I get this look! There are tons of looks you can create with this palette. Let me know what colors you want me to use next. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
