Hey guys! Welcome back! I hope you are all having an excellent week. I am freezing over here because my dorm currently does not have heat. I know, it’s great. But it’s fine. Really. But that’s not what this is about! Today I wanted to share with you how I stay motivated. Between classes, homework, all of my jobs, and my blog, it can be hard to keep up. Sometimes it’s difficult to find motivation or inspiration to do something. So I decided to sit down and share with you what I do that helps me get motivated to blog because this is one thing that is sometimes very easy to neglect. Some of these can also be applied to other parts of life. 1. Follow other bloggers. I love following other bloggers because even if we don’t blog about the same things, other people can be so inspiring. From writing style, to the stories they tell, to their amazing graphic design, I love seeing what other people do. It truly inspires me to keep up with my blog and write about things that matter to me. 2. Utilize Pinterest. Pinterest is an amazing tool for finding motivation. There is no other website that motivates me more than Pinterest. No matter what you need inspiration or motivation for, you can surely find something on Pinterest. I always go to find blogging ideas or to connect with others. 3. Make goals. If you have a goal, you have something to work towards. If not you are just doing things for virtually no reason. So I like to make goals for all aspects of my life when I can, that way I know what I’m working towards. I have a focus and a vision that motivates me to keep going. 4. Remember why you started. It’s important to keep in mind why you are even doing what you are doing. This helps motivate me because I know why I am doing it and what expectations I have for it. I find that this keeps me focused and allows me to remember my goals that I create. 5. Take breaks. This is really hard for me because I sometimes feel guilty for taking breaks when I know I need to be doing other things. But I also know that I need to rest and take a break every once in a while in order to be able to work. I don’t want to drain myself or exhaust myself to the point where I am not motivated at all anymore. Sometimes it’s good to step away and do something else or just rest in order to gain perspective and come back later to work on whatever you need to. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like this if you did. Comment below what you do to find motivation. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
