Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you have all had an excellent week. The stress has hit hard this week, so today I wanted to give you my favorite ways to reduce stress. I think I’ve done this post before, but I am doing it again for all of our new followers, and older ones in case you missed it. These are the things I do when I need to get rid of some of the stress in my life. If you have any tips or want to share your favorite ways to reduce stress let us know in the comments!
Get organized. One of the best ways I know to remove stress is to get organized. If I feel like my life is not organized or something, I get really anxious. So I have to sit down and plan and make a schedule. Of course things always come up that aren’t in my control, but as long as I have a basic structure I can feel at ease.
Have quiet time. I always try to have quiet time if I am feeling anxious or stressed. It helps me just feel at peace and just rest. I sometimes have a hard time relaxing and just taking time to sit and be still. But I am trying to work on that and get better at it.
Exercise. I try to make time for regular exercise, but when I am feeling stressed I like to go for a walk outside and just breathe. It helps me just take a step back and not think about what I’m stressed about.
Sleep. Getting enough sleep is really important when it comes to reducing stress. I know how much sleep I need in order to function on a basic level, so it has become a priority for me to go to bed at a decent time so I can get enough sleep.
Reach out to friends. Having good friends who are supportive and encouraging are crucial especially when you are feeling stressed. They can lift you up and help you get in a better head space.
Clean. Nothing helps me reduce stress like cleaning. A clean space helps create a clear mind. It takes my mind off of things and helps motivate me to focus and get other things done that need to be done.
