Why Blogging Is Important

Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to talk about blogging and why it’s important. I am going to be sharing why it is important to me, as well as what some of our other creators had to say about why blogging is important to them. Obviously this is something we all enjoy doing, or we wouldn’t spend so much time doing it. But honestly, there are so many different reasons as to why blogging is so important. Whether you are  writer creating the content or a reader enjoying the content, everyone has a need for blogs and they get something out of it. So here is why blogging is important.

It allows you to network in new ways. I have been to networking events in real life, and blogging provides a similar type of network. You meet new people, talk to them, and sometimes you even work with them. Networking is how you learn and grow and find new opportunities. Blogging is the same way. If I had never started blogging I probably never would have found any of you. So blogging gives you a new pool of people to get to know all over the world.

You get to create your own brand. It’s like discovering your identity all over again. You get to experiment and write about things you love. Creating your own brand is going to help you when you are looking for a job. Companies look at things like blogs and social media pages to see what your presence on the internet is. Blogging can help that be a positive presence.

You learn that you have a voice. Before I started blogging, I had a difficult time expressing myself. But i knew that I loved writing and I was able to think out my thoughts clearly on paper. So blogging to me made sense. I know other people who feel that blogging is important because it allows your voice to be heard. Vinchelle said, “You can use blogging to share your life with people with similar interests.” She is absolutely right. People love reading what other people have to say about their favorite things. Sydney said, “For me blogging is important because it helped me find my voice and I also found it to be therapeutic in times I didn’t know how to verbally express what I was feeling.” I think this is an important message because it shows you the power that blogging can have in your life. Whether 100 people read your blog or only a handful of people do, it’s important to stay true to yourself and do what is going to help you.

Why is blogging important to you? Let us know in the comments. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

  1. Hi! I was wondering if you could share with us some of your favourite blogs! I’m having a hard time finding other blogs I enjoy reading. I was thinking since I enjoy what you write about I night enjoy the same blogs you read aswell. Thanks!

  2. Blogging lets me connect with people who have similar interests, things my irl friends don’t really care about or have an interest in. 🙂

  3. “Blogging gives you a voice” — YES, YES, YES! I originally started my blog to talk about my passion: music. But it challenges me to find my voice and sharpen my writing skills. I also gain amazing blogging friends who support me as well as I cherish them!

  4. Excellent points! I love sharing my photos in bulk through my blog rather than other social media because I feel that my followers in the blogging community genuinely read & care about what I post (:
