Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to talk about inner beauty. In a lot of ways your inner beauty is as important, or maybe more important than outer beauty. Who you are on the inside is often times reflected in how you come across to people. So today I thought we could talk about some ways we can all grow our inner beauty. Being kind, being a good person, being confident and being pleasant to be around are all important qualities to have. So I wanted to share how you can be beautiful on the inside.

1. What does inner beauty mean to you? Everyone has a different meaning for outer beauty, and it’s no different with inner beauty. What kind of person do you want to be? What kind of personality do you want to have. What would your inner beauty look like to you? Knowing how you define inner beauty will help give you some kind of structure and then you can start working towards that.

2. Don’t envy others. Don’t compare your life to that of others. Only compare yourself to who you were in the past. Everyone is different. We are all unique with different talents, experiences, and goals. Comparing yourself to someone who has a completely different life doesn’t do you any good. Go after what you want in life and be good to yourself. Allow yourself to be a better version of you, not someone else.

3. Be authentic. Embrace who you are, not who you think other people want you to be. One thing I have learned from blogging is that people love the real you. The people who matter will always appreciate the fact that you are being authentic. Be the real you, not the copy of someone else. It’s difficult to connect with people who are not authentic. It’s hard to really know someone and appreciate them if they aren’t being real. So stay true to yourself and just be you.

4. Be positive. You can do great things and you will do great things. If there are things that you want, then go get them. Don’t be negative and bring yourself down. Believe in the person that you are and allow yourself to grow. Sometimes life can be unfair and it really drags us down, but learning to be positive and hopeful will teach you strength and teach you to trust yourself and be confident.

5. Be kind. There is nothing to inner beauty if you are not kind. Being a nice person goes a long way. Sure, anyone could be a stick in the mud, but it’s so great to be able to give to others and make them happy. People see and notice your inner beauty when you are kind-hearted and do meaningful acts. This will give you a new perspective on yourself and how loved and appreciated you are.

6. Focus on your passions. Your inner beauty is embedded in what you are passionate about. When you get to talk about or work on what you are passionate about, or if you are in a very loving relationship, you really do glow. You become a better and happier person. So spend time with what you are passionate about and let that take control of your life.
