Hey guys! Welcome back. I think we all have a tendency at some point in our lives to settle for something (or someone) that is good even though we know that greatness is out there. So I wanted to talk about that today. I wanted to talk about why we need to stop settling for “pretty good” when the greatness we all deserve is just beyond that. I think our lives would be so much richer if we worked a little harder and made those tough decisions to reach our full potential.

One of the things we have to stop doing is rationalizing the way other people behave. The rationalizing and making excuses allows people to continue to hold us back. We then use them as a crutch to put ourselves and our dreams on hold. But I think we need to move on from that and start living for ourselves. We can’t keep letting the people bring us down and continue to sue us. We have to move forward. Rationalizing and giving them the benefit is only hurting everyone in the long run.

Knowing when to walk away is central to finding that greatness. I have made plenty of mistakes in not walking away when I should, but also walking away too soon. I don’t think I full know how to time it perfectly. But one thing I do know is that one key factor in getting to that greatness is knowing when it’s time to walk away. You can’t be everyone’s answer and you certainly can’t fix everyone. So sometimes you have to walk away and allow yourself to leave an unhealthy situation. Maybe it a relationship or a job. Whatever it is, know that if it’s not right for you, you deserve better.

Not everything is meant to be, and that’s okay. Don’t be afraid to let go of things that are not right for you and embrace the things you love. You will make decisions that are not popular with other people. You will walk away from people you once loved and cared for. You will walk your own path and find new ways of life. It’s all worth it. Each chapter of your life has a new beginning. You will make mistakes because no one is perfect. But that doesn’t mean you are not worthy of finding greatness. It means you human and flawed. But the point of life is to grow and learn. If you’re not, then what’s the point?

Never settle for the first thing that comes along. Don’t fall into the trap of comfort and security. Know when it’s time to move on. Recognize that not everything is meant to last forever. We need to understand that we are destined for greatness. Those who don’t will live a life stuck in one place forever. You don’t deserve to be there. You deserve to find that peace and happiness you have always dreamed of. So keep searching and never settle for “pretty good”.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let me know in the comments what other posts you would like to see from me. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you haven’t already and I hope to see you next time!
