Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am going to share with you how I manage my to-do list. I used to be super overwhelmed by everything I had to do, and at times, I still do. But I have found that this method of organizing everything is really beneficial and keeps me from being too overwhelmed. Basically, I split it up between four quadrants. I literally draw the four quadrants on a piece of paper. This is how I use my four quadrants.

Quadrant #1: In this square I write down everything that needs to be done immediately. So I will write down assignments, blog posts for the next day, and anything else that needs to be done that day. These are all things that are urgent and important. These are the things I focus on first. I don’t worry about anything else until these things are marked off the list.

Quadrant #2: This list is compiled of things that need attention, but that can be put off. The things that are on this list is things that need to be done throughout the week. This way, if I have extra time I can work on them, but if not, I won’t have to absolutely worry about it until later. I don’t look at this list until the first list is completed, but it is still good to have an idea of things that can be worked on if I have a little more time one day.

Quadrant #3: These are things that are not critical at the moment, but still need attention. These are those big semester projects, papers, trips, etc. that need my attention when I can give it to them, but that are going to take a little more time than I can bargain for at the moment. This quadrant is used to remind myself to spend a little time every now and then working on them, so they aren’t so large later on.

Quadrant #4: This is where I keep the fun and creative things I have planned. This list includes things like blogging, YouTube, starting new projects, etc. I also include things like cleaning, decluttering, and big projects that aren’t time sensitive. This quadrant is for things that are not time sensitive and critical only. This way I can refer to this list when I need a break and need to focus on myself for a little while.

I really hope this list helps! I know it has helped me. I have been using this method for two years and I promise you it never fails me. So give it a try and let me know your thoughts in the comments. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
