Hey guys! Welcome back. Everyone has different ideas on how they can have a good life. For some people it’s having a family, for some it is a successful career, and for some it’s having luxuries. However, regardless of what it means to you to have a good life, there are a few things you can do to reach that life that you love. And that is what I want to share with you today. These are things that regardless of the life you are trying to live can help you attain that. Through a little bit of time and some focus, you can get there by practicing these habits.

1. Find your passion. Figure out what it is that you are passionate it about. Regardless of what you consider a good life to be, there has to be some passion if you want to get there. So the first step is finding yourself and knowing what your passion is. Once you know you can start working to get there. There will be hard work, there will be setbacks, and there will be failures. But the point of your passion is that you never give up on it. So figure out what it is and hold onto it with all that you have.

2. Express gratitude. Be thankful for what you already have. Be thankful for the people in your life that are helping you. Don’t let negativity bring you down. Understand that sometimes life doesn’t always go your way. But be thankful for the things that do. Showing gratitude will take you far in this life. So few people take the time to sit down and think about all the things they have. So if you want to have a good life, don’t forget about the things you are lucky enough to have.

3. Focus on mental health. We get so caught up in the world that sometimes we lose sight of our mental health. We start getting stressed out and anxious and before we know it we lose control of everything. Your mental health is extremely important. Just like physical health, in order to have a good and fulfilling life, you need to make sure that the stress is not becoming too overwhelming and that you and being active in relieving stress and anxiety.

4. Reflect often. It is important to live a good life that you reflect on the things that have gone right and the things that have gone wrong. It is extremely helpful to be able to look back and see progress and learn from your mistakes. This helps you live a good life because it allows you to make new goals and learn. Part of living a good life is being able to grow and become a better version of yourself.

5. Set intentions. Another big part of living a good life is having a life filled with intentions. This gives you goals to work towards so you are always striving to be an even better version of the person you are. Never let there be a day when you are not setting intentions either for now or for the future. Sure, things may change, but if you have a plan, you are at least working towards something. That will help you more than not having any kind of goals or dreams.

6. Stay positive. Being positive is extremely important to living a good life. If you are always negative and looking at the bad in situations, you will never really be happy. Learn to be happy and content with where you are and you would be surprised with how much your life will change. Learn to see the good in everything. Learn to be optimistic and hopeful. You will see better days in the future if you learn this habit and implement it into your daily life.

7. Self care. Self care goes hand in hand with mental health. Make sure you are taking care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Make sure you are eating properly and adequately. Make sure you are getting the sleep your body needs. Give yourself breaks. Give yourself time to pursue the things that make you happy. It will change your life if you start making yourself a priority.
