Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you have had an excellent weekend. Since we are about to start a new week I thought I would give you some tips to hopefully help you reach your goals. These are things I have found to be incredibly useful in my own life and I wanted to pass them on to you. If you are reading this, you probably have some goals you are looking to reach. I hope this helps and that you do accomplish all of your goals.

1. Write them down. Having goals is great, but writing them down is even better. Writing down your goals will help you remember them, keep up with them, track them, and know what you are trying to accomplish in life. Whether they are long term or short term, writing them down is an extremely important habit to build. It validates your goals and helps you remember what you are working toward. It will hopefully inspire and motivate you to keep going.

2. Don’t overwhelm yourself. While it is important to have goals, it is also important to keep them limited to just a few. Having too many goals will become overwhelming and you are less likely to want to keep working towards them. So make sure you are not overloading yourself and making it impossible for you to reach your goals. Limit yourself and once you accomplish those, make a few more.

3. Get specific. Being specific with your goals will help you reach them. Saying you want to drink more water is vague and is barely a goal. Saying you want to drink four glasses or more of water a day is more specific and more likely to actually happen. Being specific means you are serious and you are more likely to follow through and reach your goal. Be as specific as you can.

4. Create a plan. Once you have a specific goal in mind, it is important to create a plan. If you want to start an online business, that is great, but you have to create a plan to get there. You have to come up with a step-by-step guide to help you reach your goals. Even if it is a small goal, it is important to have a plan and know exactly how you are going to reach that goal. Otherwise, you may not ever follow through with it.

5. Categorize accordingly. A big part of setting goals for yourself is categorizing them. Understand that some goals are long term, while others are more short term. Some goals may be more important than others. Some may be more time-consuming. Make sure you understand how you categorize each of your goals and how you plan to work off of each of your goals. It will help you stay more organized.

6. Keep yourself accountable. Setting goals is a great thing, but it means absolutely nothing if you never do anything to reach your goal. I highly recommend setting rewards for yourself so you can keep yourself accountable. Make sure you are pushing yourself to work towards your goals because they are there for a reason. Once you start working, keep reminding yourself to work because if not you may not finish.

7. Keep setting goals. Always remember to keep setting goals. Once you reach a goal, set a new one. Always keep improving yourself. Work to be better and keep pushing. Set goals so you can live the life you want and get there on your own. Be there for yourself and make sure you are setting yourself up for success. Once you reach a goal, don’t stop there. Keep going.

8. Don’t hate yourself if you fail. No one is perfect and never got anywhere trying to be. So don’t hate yourself if you miss the mark. It’s okay to not reach every goal you set. You might fail and that alright. But don’t give up. Keep trying and if you don’t succeed, maybe that goal wasn’t for you. Try something else or ask someone for help. There is never any shame in not getting everything you try for. Some things just aren’t meant to be.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope this is helpful. Please like it if it is. Let us know in the comments how you go about reaching your goals. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

  1. Planning, organizing, categorizing…some of my favorite things! I’ve learned over time to not be super hard on myself when I don’t quite achieve my full goal, but learn to accept the partial failure and commend myself for what I did do (: revising goals is helpful as well
