Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to share with you some things that have improved my life. These are things that I have done to start being happier and living better. A couple of these are very recent, but I wanted to share them and touch on them because I really do see the value. I highly recommend if you have high levels of anxiety or depression that you sit down and make your own list of things that have improved your life. It helps you really reflect and see how well you are really doing. And hopefully this list helps you find some new ways to improve your life.

My Bullet Journal.

I recently got back into my bullet journal. It helps me with prioritizing and making sure I am getting things done. It helps me stay organized as well as tracking my goals. From work outs to blogging, having this bullet journal has improved my quality of life. I can use it as a point of reference and it is also a little creative hobby as well.

Reduced my caffeine intake.

Notice I didn’t say cut it out completely. I just reduced how much I have. This has improved my life a lot because I sleep a lot better and my anxiety has started to decrease. Of course, this doesn’t fix everything, but it has helped me a great deal. I cut it down a little everyday and replace it with water. This helps me gradually build a better habit.

Work outs.

My sister and I sometimes do work outs together which makes it more fun. Later in the list I will tell you about an app that we discovered that helps with working out and tracking steps and calories. But working out in general has improved my life so much. I feel better and more confident even though there isn’t a significant change yet. It just feels good to know that I am doing good things for my body.

Let myself feel my emotions.

When I was growing up I was discouraged from expressing my emotions. Communication wasn’t something that my family was the best at. So I learned to mask my feelings and struggled for the first part of my adult life to let people in. It took a lot of work, but letting myself feel and letting my emotions out has improved my life. I’m not as tense from trying to hold everything in.

Learned to say no.

I was a “yes” girl. I always said yes to everyone because I never wanted anyone to be disappointed or not be able to depend on me. But it became too much. I was saying yes so often that my plate was overflowing. Saying no more often allowed me to prioritize myself and learn to work others in where I can.

Saying yes to myself.

I started giving myself permission to enjoy things. I started allowing myself to do the things that I want to do and give myself freedom. Once I started saying no more often when I felt the need to, I was able to prioritize myself. I had more time for working out, doing the things I enjoy, and more.

Beauty Workout.

Beauty Workout is an app that gives you daily workouts at different time ranges. It also helps you track your fitness goals, the steps you take, and how many calories you burn. It’s a great resource if you a beginner like I am and need to have something free and easy to use.
