Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to share with you some things that I wish I knew when I was younger. I think I have done something like this similar before, but I think it’s always good to update and share new things. So today I wanted to share with you some of the things I wish I knew when I was younger. And this could mean anywhere from ten years ago to six months ago. But these are the things that I have learned and wish I could share with my younger self.

The first is that regardless of where you are at this point, you are going to experience some amazing things. It may be hard to see it now, but somewhere down the line it is all going to make sense and it is all going to work out. You are going to find the people who love you through all the pain and help you heal. So don’t be afraid and just keep fighting the fight. Because your life is going to be more than you could ever imagine.

Push your boundaries. Don’t stay in your comfort zone forever. Because it will end up breaking you if you aren’t careful. Allow yourself to be free and be inspired by the things around you. Life is not easy, but what makes it worth it is when we step beyond what makes us comfortable and really start to grow. Learn to inspire yourself in every way that you can because other people aren’t always dependable in that area.

Take the opportunities that you want. Don’t let fear hold you back. You work hard and you have to trust that when the timing is right, the opportunities will come. Don’t miss out just because you are scared. You have no idea the wonderful things that come on the other side of taking that chance. So let yourself take risks and live everyday to the fullest. You deserve that.

Be open. Be open to people, places, careers, and more. Don’t be close-minded like the people who came before you. Allow yourself to dream and create goals based on those dreams. This will allow you to be open to new ideas and new possibilities. It gives you a chance to see everything that is available to you so you can make the best decision for yourself in the long run.

Sometimes you have to work for the things you deserve. People often have the misconception that if you deserve something in life it will just happen. But that’s not necessarily the case. Sometimes you will have to work for it. Success in anything doesn’t just happen. We have to put in the time and effort to make it happen. So make sure you are always pushing forward and keep working hard.

Try not to worry so much. Worrying too much will lead to serious health issues both physically and mentally. Just have faith that it will all work out. I know it is easier said than done, but remember your strength. Remember that the fight will be worth it because you are worth it. Have faith that God knows what He is doing and He is paving the way for a life that you will cherish and be eternally grateful for.

Be kind and smile. You never know what an impact that can have on someone’s day. Kindness is not nearly as overrated as people think it is. So be kind. Show respect and show people that there is still some good in the world. We need that. Also, be kind to yourself. What you say about yourself is what you will end up believing. So be kind to everyone, including yourself.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know something you wish you had known in the comments. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

  1. I like your, “Push your boundaries” point. That’s something I wish I could tell my younger self, as I didn’t start that until more recently. Something my mentor say that really sticks with me is, “Get comfortable with the uncomfortable.” You can always learn from those experiences, and help you grow into who you want to be. Anyway, nice post!
