Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week. Staying organized is something that I really enjoy doing, but sometimes it is difficult for me because sometimes it’s the thing that kind of gets put to the side when life gets busy. So I came up with a list of things to do every month to be more organized. Today I would like to share that list with you. These are ten things I do every month to be more organized.

1. Clean out your purse.

Cleaning out your purse or your backpack can help you stay organized because you can get rid of the things you don’t need. You can remove the clutter and reduce the amount of time spent digging through your bag later on. And depending on how big the bag is, that can be a big help.

2. Clean out your phone pictures.

I take a lot of random pictures and screenshot a lot of things that later I don’t need or want. So going through my pictures every month and filing them or saving them to my computer keeps my phone gallery looking neat and put together and helps me only have pictures that are really important.

3. Set goals for yourself.

Having goals helps you keep yourself organized. This way you know what you are working towards and what is a priority that month. Otherwise you are more likely to be all over the place. Goals help provide you with structure and keep you moving forward in life.

4. Make plans with friends and family.

It is important to plan that time as early in the month as possible because that quality time is important. It’s best to make those plans while you still have free time because that will really help ensure that you are making time and keeping your commitments. This just gives you a head start.

5. Schedule appointments.

At the start of the month, schedule any appointments that you need to. This includes doctor appointments, dentist appointments, and any other appointments that you need to make. This keeps you organized and helps you make sure that you are not forgetting later on in the month.

6. But birthday cards.

If there are any birthdays in that month, go ahead and buy cards. You can get them pretty cheap or you can buy more expensive ones. Whatever your preference, go ahead and buy them and prepare them so you can send them out when the time comes. It helps you not forget later on in the month.

7. Deep clean your home.

Deep cleaning always helps me feel more organized. So doing a deep clean every month is something I highly recommend. It gives you time to get rid of things you don’t need, clean out spaces, and make room for everything you need. Deep cleaning at some point during the month helps your space stay organized.

8. Budget your finances.

Your finances are something that is important to organize. This is something that I am only recently learning for myself. But since I started budgeting, I have learned the value of it and how helpful it can be. So I highly recommend budgeting your finances at the beginning (or end) of every month.

9. Choose a book to read.

This may not seem like it is relevant to being organized, but in reality it is. Choosing one book to read gives you a focus. It allows you to organize your time to ensure that you have time to read the book. It helps you structure your time and routine in a new and creative way.

10. Clean out your refrigerator.

Sometimes we hold on to things we don’t need or want way longer than we need to. I know that I used to be really bad about keeping things that I should of done away with long before. So I started cleaning out my fridge once a month and really giving a good wipe down. It made room for new things and helped me feel more organized.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what you do every month to be more organized. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
