Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a fantastic week! Today I wanted to talk to you about changing your life. Not necessarily how to change your life, but mostly why you should. Because at the end of the day there are things that you have control over. You do have opportunities to change your life, whether that be by moving or finding a new job or maybe even leaving a relationship. There are so many ways to radically change your life, but I wanted to talk about the many reasons why you should. That way, if you are trying to make a decision about something and you just aren’t sure, hopefully this will help you take the plunge.
You will discover who you are.
During these major life changes, you start to come to terms with who you are. You start to realize what is most important to you and what you really want out of life. You discover where you want to be and where you don’t want to be. It is absolutely imperative that during these life changes that you take a moment to evaluate the situation and see if it fits where you want to go and who you want to be.
You will become the CEO of your life.
Once you start changing your life you will see that you have more of a say in what happens than you may have thought before. You start making firm and decisive decisions that help you live the life that you want to live. Making these major life changes that alter a huge part of your life is something that will ultimately help you grow and live the best life that you possibly can.
You will figure out your vision and values.
Changing your life can have lasting effects on your life. But starting out, it can help you see that certain things are more important to you than other things. You will start to see clearly what you want your life to look like and what you need in order to get there. Your vision and your values will become more clear to you once you start allowing yourself to make these changes.
You will align yourself with your goals.
A lot of us have goals and dreams that we want to achieve someday, but we aren’t where we need to be to get there. So once you start really changing your life and only allowing in the things and people that need to be there you can start working towards your goals. Changing your life can allow you to remove anything that is not helping you get where you need to be.
You will let go of what others think of you.
Once you start living life for yourself and letting go of the expectations of others, you will start to feel a lot more free. You will start to take control of your life and make the changes necessary as you see fit. Because ultimately those expectations and opinions that other people have don’t truly matter all the time. It is up to you to decide what is worth your time and what is not worth your time.
You upgrade your habits.
Your habits are built off of your goals. Your goals are build off of your vision. Your vision is built off of the life that you want to live. It is up to you to get to that point. Once you decide to change your life, your habits will improve. You will start building habits that help you become the person that you want to be and that help you live the life you are dreaming of having.
You raise your self-worth.
Knowing your worth is something that is difficult to do, but if you start changing your life and growing your confidence, you will see your self-worth improving. And I have learned that it all comes with experience. So the more you do something, the more confidence you will have. The more confidence you have, the more worthy you will feel doing it.
You leave your comfort zone.
Comfort zones are great sometimes, but other times they aren’t doing you any favors. When they hold you back or keep you from growing, you know it’s probably time to leave. Changing your life is one way to leave and not look back. Whether that means looking for a new job or relocating somewhere, changing your life allows you to escape anything that might be holding you back.
You understand the value of baby steps.
Once you start the process of radically changing your life, you will start to understand that it won’t happen overnight. You won’t immediately change your life and make it all better in just a few days. Sometimes it takes time and a lot of effort before you get any results that show progress. But baby steps help you keep moving forward and continuing that progress.
You learn that you are not in control of everything.
Sometimes we do have the opportunity to change our lives, but other times we don’t. And in the moments that we are in control we learn to take advantage of it when we can because the opportunity may not come again. It is important to embrace life when you can and take chances because you really never know what might come of it. And it will really help you grow along the way.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments why you think we should change our lives. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
