Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you have had an excellent week. Today I wanted to share with you my goals for this semester. This is most likely my last semester of college and that is a little bittersweet. But I am excited for the next chapter and I am excited to take you along on that journey. So today I am sharing with what my goals are for this final semester and how I am making the most of it.

Don’t procrastinate.

I have gotten better about not procrastinating, but it still happens. So this semester I want to work on not procrastinating and getting things done as soon as I can. This will reduce a lot of the stress that I have and will help me work towards other things. It is always a good feeling to have things done in advance when you can.

Go to class.

I go to class, but sometimes I will admit, I skip it. Whether it’s because I haven’t finished something or I just don’t feel like, sometimes I just don’t go. And in some cases that’s okay, but this semester I am striving to go to class and make the most out of this final semester because I know it will go by fast.

Do the reading.

I struggle with doing all of the reading for all of my classes and I really want to be better about that this semester. I want to get as much of the reading done as possible so I can be more prepared for class and actually understand what is going on. It’s something that I have slacked on in the past, but want to work on this semester.

Get plenty of sleep.

In past semesters I haven’t always allowed myself to sleep as much as I should. It has had an effect on my physical and mental health. So it is always good to start practicing better sleeping habits and allowing myself to rest. I feel so much better and more like myself when I am getting an adequate amount of rest.

Start paying off loans.

I have a lot of student loans and I have paid a little bit in the past, but this semester I really want to start paying off more. Taking a certain amount out of my paycheck specifically for that will be a huge help. I think it is best to start now instead of waiting because it can only help.

Perfect resume and cover letters.

Once I graduate I know I will need my resume and cover letter to be ready to start applying for jobs. So this semester I really want to work on those and get them updated so I am ready to go. This way when the time comes to start applying for jobs, I know that I am prepared.

Spend quality time with friends on campus.

As I said earlier, this is my last semester of college. And part of the reason that is so sad is because I will be saying goodbye to all of the friends that I have made. So I really want to make it an effort to spend quality time with these friends and give them as much time as I can.

Work out every other day.

This may be one of the most difficult goals. I am really hoping to follow through with this one the most though. I know it will really help me in a lot of ways and I am excited to keep going with this. I hope I can keep up with it and start my journey towards feeling better about myself.

Get assignments done as early as possible.

One of the best feelings I know is getting something done in advance. I feel like I can actually enjoy myself when that happens. So this semester I am working to get assignments finished as early as I can and not put it off until the last minute. I know I will feel a lot better and more confident.

Save for the future.

I have some saved for the future, but I feel that this is always a good goal to have. Always start save for the future and making sure that you are helping your future self. This is always something that I have known is important and I know it will really help me a lot when the time comes to use it.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your goals for the semester are! Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
