Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to talk about the small things that can affect your life and your overall well-being. Because I have learned over the past couple of years that my body and the different aspects can really affect each other. Physical health affects mental health and vice versa. There are so many small things that we have to look after, but sometimes end up looking over. So here are some tiny things that can significantly impact your well-being.

Drink enough water. 

The biggest thing that has improved my well-being in a general sense is drinking more water. Not only is it good for me, it also makes me feel good. I love feeling hydrated. It has helped my skin. It has helped me feel more energized throughout the day. Drinking plenty of water is such a simple thing, but it has so much impact.

Express gratitude.

Being grateful for everything you have in your life and being more positive can really help your well-being. You see things from a different perspective and you start to see your purpose and your vision for life. Expressing gratitude on a daily basis allows you to remember why you are here and why it matters.

Breathe.

Regardless of whether you meditate or not, it’s important to remember to breathe everyday. Breathing is something that we naturally do and we don’t really have to think about it. However, taking just a few moments a day to focus on your breathing can help reduce stress and anxiety and it helps calm and focus you.

Get outside.

There is nothing quite like being outside in the fresh air with all the nature. If you are able, spend some time outside everyday. Walk around and burn some calories. Or just sit and read a book. Being outside is something I love to do on any given day because it really helps relax me.

Plan.

Having a plan and giving your life a bit of structure can really help all aspects of your well-being. It keeps you organized which help you feel less stressed which is great for your mental health. You can plan workouts and meals which is great for your physical health. Planning helps in all sorts of ways that you don’t recognize until you start doing it and see the benefits.
