Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am here with another post about blogging because they have been so highly requested lately. So I am going to share with you how you can create a list of things to do with your blog. These are all things that I feel are necessary and will help you and your blog be successful. So here are ten things that all bloggers need on their to-do lists.

1. Create a consistent schedule.

All bloggers need to have a schedule when it comes to blogging. Not only a posting schedule, but also a writing, editing, and brainstorming schedule. This keeps you organized and ensures that you are giving yourself enough time to do all of the things you need to do to keep your blog running smoothly.

2. Plan/write future posts.

When you give yourself time to do these tasks and create an outline for what you will say, you will start to see that the writing process is a lot easier because you already have all of your thoughts together. So having this on your to-do list is a must because it allows you time to make sure you are getting ahead.

3. Set realistic goals.

It is really good to have goals for your blog. It gives you a vision and helps you keep pushing forward. However, your goals need to be realistic and attainable in order for them to work and you to actually reach them. So once a month at the least, setting goals should be on your to-do list.

4. Organize your Pinterest.

This is not something that needs to be done every single day. In fact, it wouldn’t make sense to do so. However, once a week or every two weeks, take some time to organize your Pinterest and update it where you have time. It’s great to be able to have social media and keep it manageable.

5. Be active on social media.

It is important to be on social media every day if you can. Try to be active on at least one platform for a few minutes everyday. Engage with your followers, let them know about recent or upcoming content, and answer their questions. You will start to see a huge transition with your followers and engagement if you do this.

6. Connect with other bloggers.

You have no idea the impact of connecting with other bloggers and what it can do for you and your blog until you do it. Having relationships with other bloggers can only help you, so I highly recommend working to connect with other bloggers. You can do this through social media or by spending time in the comment section of their blogs.

7. Connect with your followers.

I touched on this a bit earlier, but I want to express how important it is to connect with your followers and build a relationship with them. This is something you should strive to do everyday because it will build loyalty and trust between you and your followers. The more they know you care, the more they will care.

8. Promote your content.

Social media is a great tool to do this. There are other ways, such as email newsletters, however, social media is your biggest resource in this regard. Promoting your content gets it out to more people than just your followers and it allows other people to share content with their friends and followers.

9. Declutter your email.

As a blogger, your email can get pretty full with all of the emails from readers, companies, and more. So it’s important to take time at least once a month to sit down and declutter all of it. Delete what you can and put everything else in folders. This will keep you from looking at a cluttered inbox.

10. Reply to comments.

You should strive to respond to as many comments as you can. You may not be able to respond to every comment, but you can respond to as many as you can. This shows your readers that you care about them and value the time they take to not only read your content, but reply to it as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what is on your blogging to-do list. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
