Hey guys! Welcome back. Yesterday I shared my morning routine for Fall, so it’s only natural that I follow up with my Fall evening routine. These are all the things I like to in the evening that allow me to finish what I need to finish and prepare myself to get ready for bed and have a better night’s sleep. Hopefully this inspires your Fall evening routine or we find that we have some things in common. So here is my evening routine for this new season.

Homework.

As soon as classes are over and I get back to my room I like to do homework. I get as much of it done as I can so I don’t have to worry about it later. It feels really good to have my assignments done ahead of time because I am not nearly as stressed as I would be if I always waited.

Dinner.

At around 5:00 p.m. I like to take a break from my homework if I haven’t already and I go get dinner. Sometimes it’s a solo activity and sometimes I go with other people. It just depends on how I’m feeling. But I get some dinner and then I like to walk around a bit outside if the weather is appropriate.

Work on something.

After all of my assignments are done I like to work on something. This could be writing or editing for the blog, working on the podcast, or working on a big paper or project for a class. I like working on these things a little at a time so I don’t have to do it all at once and stress out about it.

Relax/Clean Up.

Once I have finished whatever I am working on I like to relax a little bit. I will turn on some Netflix or YouTube videos. I like to take some time to clean up my room a little bit so I’m not going to bed in a messy room. I make sure all my stuff is put away and the trash is taken out.

Read.

I like reading right before bed. It’s helps me wind down and it’s just something I enjoy doing. It also helps me get in the reading time I otherwise wouldn’t have time to do. I like reading self-help and inspirational books. They really help motivate me. I also like reading fiction.

Get Ready For Bed.

And the final thing I do is get ready for bed. I brush my teeth, put on my pajamas, do my skin care, and put my hair up. I like to make sure that I am keeping up with my skin care routine because my skin does not react well when I skip too many consecutive days off not taking care of it.
