Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week so far. Today I wanted to share with you some habits I do everyday that help me stay happy and productive. These are things that I recommend to anyone who is looking to get on top of things and get their life together. So if you are someone needing some tips on where to start, start here! These habits will help you progress and take control of your life.

Get enough sleep.

One of the biggest things that I know I need to stay on top of my game is getting enough sleep. It not only helps me physically, but it also helps me mentally. I know when I don’t have enough sleep or I’m too tired I don’t think as clearly and I am not nearly as productive as I otherwise would be. So if you are looking for some habits that will help you take control of your life, start with your sleep schedule. It makes all the difference.

Avoid procrastination.

It’s really easy to come back to my room, turn on Netflix, and not do anything for the rest of the day. And I will admit, sometimes I do. But it’s not an everyday thing. Being productive is one of the biggest keys to staying on top of things and not getting stressed and overwhelmed. The more you put something off, the harder it will be to get finished. So try to avoid procrastinating as much as you can.

Prioritize.

I prioritize my to-do list everyday. I make a list of all the things I need to get done and order them out in the order that they need to get done. I also plan my weeks like this. It just helps me stay on top of everything and know that I am working on the most important things first. If it is really significant or urgent I try to do it first thing so I know it is done and I don’t have to worry about it later.

Eat well.

Since starting the Keto diet, my eating habits have definitely improved. I am not starving myself, but rather eating more nutrient-rich foods. This helps me feel better and keeps me energized longer throughout the day. I don’t eat as much and I feel much more productive. Eating foods that are good for me just helps me feel a lot healthier and I have really been enjoying it.

Drink water.

I have started drinking a lot more water here recently and I can’t tell you the difference it has made in my body. I can really see a difference between the days that I don’t drink as much water and the days that I do. I am noticing a lot of changes that are all only positive and although I did drink water before it wasn’t as much as I should. So now I am really making it a priority.

Exercise.

Whether it is a work out in the morning, a walk after lunch, or taking a class, exercising at least a little everyday can really help you. Not only does it burn calories, but you also feel a lot better. Exercising releases endorphins which helps you feel good. So if you are needing a pick me up and don’t want to eat something that is bad for you, try walking around the block or something.

Use my planner/calendar.

I use my planner and my Google Calendar everyday. I have my days, weeks, and months planned out. Of course, things change and I’m okay with that. I have learned that it’s okay to need to change things. Just because it’s there doesn’t mean it can’t be moved. It just means that at some point it will need to be done. So don’t delete it, but move it to another spot.

Take time for myself.

The last habit that I want to mention is another one that is super important to me and keeps me on top of things. That is taking time for myself. Whether it is ten minutes watching a YouTube video or an hour watching my favorite TV show or reading a book, taking time for myself helps me relax and just clear my mind. Sometimes this is reading my Bible and journaling. Whatever it is, I know I need this time.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what habits you do everyday. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
