Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am sharing with you my weekend cleaning routine. These are things I really try to get done on the weekend if they need to be done that way I don’t have to worry about them during the week. It helps me get back on track and start the week on a fresh start.

Sweep.

I sweep my floor on the weekends because during the week I typically just don’t think about it. So I try to make sure I clean things out of my floor and sweep it so it’s not super dirty all the time.

Wash bedding.

This is not something I do every weekend because it’s not something I feel needs to be done on the weekends. But if it does need to be done, I make time during the weekend to get it done that way I can do it during the day when I’m not trying to go to bed.

Clean the sink.

I have a sink in my dorm room, so on the weekends I make sure it is clean. I wash any dishes that might be dirty. I organize all of my skin care products and things I keep at the sink. I wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe.

Clean fridge and microwave.

This is something I have found if I don’t do every week it gets really bad. So on the weekend I clean the microwave and wash the plate. I also clean out the fridge and take out any food that has gone bad or that I don’t need or want.

Laundry.

When it comes to laundry I am not the most proactive. It is my least favorite household chore. So I typically do it on the weekend when I have a little more time and can get myself to actually do it.

I also clean off my desks and my dressers. I take out the trash and wipe down all surfaces. The basic things that are done every weekend. But these are the big things I really prioritize for the weekend. What are some of yours? Let us know in the comments! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you in the next one!
