Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having an excellent weekend. We are all busy, especially this time of year. So I wanted to share with you some ways that you can incorporate more fitness into your life each week. These are things that will help you keep pushing forward and reach your goals. They are also really easy ways in my opinion. So here are five ways that you can work more fitness into your week.

1. Know your motivation.

It is important to have a motivation for wanting to incorporate more fitness. It needs to be more than you feel like you have to. Making it seem like a chore is no way to get it done and feel good about it. Look beyond the number on scale or how you look. Dig deeper and try to find an internal motivation. Maybe it is just feeling better. Maybe it is having more energy. Whatever it is, find a motivation that is for you. Knowing your motivation will make it easier for you to fit it into your schedule a lot more.

2. Schedule your workouts at the beginning of the week.

How many days a week do you want to work out? Figure that out and then schedule them at the beginning of the week. This way it is already in your schedule and you don’t have to worry about finding time to do it later. Once it is on your calendar it is a commitment. Look at it as an appointment. You wouldn’t miss that appointment with someone else, so don’t miss it with yourself. Don’t let yourself down. Do the workout when it is on your calendar.

3. Go to bed earlier.

It is scientifically proven that getting a good night’s sleep can help with fitness. The more your body rests, the more energy it has to burn. This helps you in the long run. So if you want to incorporate more fitness into your life, get a good night’s sleep every night. But I don’t have to tell you twice do I? Also, going to sleep earlier allows you to get up earlier which means you can knock your workout out in the morning. Then you don’t have to worry about it later on.

4. Get your steps in.

The average person gets about 3,000 to 5,000 steps a day on average. I challenge you to go above and beyond that. Strive to get 10,000 steps in everyday. The more steps you get, the more calories you are burning. This is another super simple, yet super effective way to incorporate more fitness into your week. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park your car a little further away so you have to walk. It’s the little things that end up making the biggest difference.

5. Spend time outside.

I know in these colder months it is more difficult to spend a lot of time outside, but even spending ten to fifteen minutes outside in the afternoon can do some good. Walk around and take in the nature. Not only does this help you get your steps in and burn some calories, but you are breathing in some fresh air which can help calm you. It’s a really great way to relieve stress and not over eat if you are a stress or emotional eater. Spending time outside has many benefits.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let me know in the comments how you incorporate more fitness into your week. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
