Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are enjoying your week. If you have been around here for a while, you know that I have been blogging everyday for quite some time. I try sometimes to go to only a few times a week, but I feel like I am selling myself short that way. So I really enjoy blogging everyday and creating new content. But since I started blogging on a daily basis I have learned some things about creativity that I thought were worth sharing with you.
Morning routines are powerful.
One of the ways that I come up with new ideas is a part of my morning routine. When I am writing my to-do list for the day I like to take a few minutes to brain dump some topic ideas. Sometimes I don’t do anything with those ideas for months, but if they are written down I won’t forget them. Sometimes I never use some topic ideas. It just depends on what it is and if I see it going anywhere. But it takes a lot of creativity to blog every single day, but it has been working for a while and a huge part of that is brain dumping.
There is more inside of me than I thought.
Since I started blogging I have learned more and more about myself. I have also grown and transformed quite a bit. It was through blogging everyday that I discovered the things I love writing about and I started to see that it comes from within myself. I am able to share what I know and what I learn through blogging everyday. But I am also able to edit, interact, and share daily as well. So I have a lot more passion for it in me than I thought I did.
Every moment is an opportunity to learn.
I take inspiration from everyday moments. From what I do to what I see, I am able to be inspired and grab from things I wouldn’t normally think of. The moments help me come up with new ideas and also helps me understand certain things more so I can write about them better. Every moment of everyday is taken in and I am able to be a better writer because I don’t let many things pass by.
Criticism isn’t always bad.
When I first started blogging I was really afraid of criticism. I thought it meant that I wasn’t doing a good job and that what I was doing didn’t mean anything. But the truth is people telling me what they like and don’t like actually helps me creatively. It helps me know what my audience is looking for and what they want out of me. It helps me come up with new ideas that I know they will love.
My voice matters.
Before I started blogging I wasn’t really sure what my voice was, let alone if it mattered. So once I started blogging everyday and more people started reading what I was writing I came to figure out that my voice and my presence does matter. I was really unsure of myself in the beginning, but being able to express myself creatively like this really helps me know my worth.
