Makeup Tips For Pale Skin

Hey guys! Welcome back. I have super pale skin especially in the Winter months, so I know the struggle of trying to find makeup that looks great and figuring out what is flattering and what is not. So today I wanted to share some of the tips that I have learned along the way that will hopefully help you.

Choose a primer that also protects.

If you have pale skin it can be really easy to get sunburn or catch the harshness of the sun. So it’s important to make sure that your primers have SPF at the least. There are some foundations and other products now that have SPF, but I don’t recommend relying only on those.

Less is more, especially with eye makeup.

When it comes to pale skin literally everything shows up. So you have to be more light-handed when you are applying your makeup because too much product can be really unflattering and get messy. You have to be careful with black eyeshadow because it shows up way easier on pale skin.

But don’t be afraid of color.

Just because you have pale skin doesn’t mean you can’t use colorful eye shadows or lip colors. You just have to find the shades that work for you. You can still have color and be bold with pale skin. It’s just about knowing what looks flattering and what you need to stay away from.

Apply blush gradually.

Blush is another product that you have to be light-handed with. It’s really easy to apply too much and then you look like a clown. So it’s best to start off with a little and build it up gradually as you go. And always remember to blend so it look more natural. Also find the best shades for your skin tone.

Opt for cool-toned bronzers.

Warm-toned bronzers are a but more harsh on pale skin tones. They don’t look as natural and don’t fade and blend into the skin as well. So cool-toned bronzers or more neutral bronzers are the way to go. Anything that says natural for the most part is also a good option.

Face powders are dangerous.

Like I said, pretty much everything shows up on pale skin. So if your foundation and concealer start breaking up it’s pretty noticeable. Therefore, it is extremely important to make sure that the powders you use for your skin are not going to mattify you so much that your makeup breaks up.

Try brown over black.

When it comes to eyeliner, especially liquid liner, I have found that black closes my eyes off and makes me look even more pale. It also makes my eyes look super small creating an even bigger issue. So I have found that I prefer brown over black. It looks more flattering with green eyes anyway.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments if you have any makeup tips for people with pale skin. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
