Hey guys! Welcome back. 2020 started off pretty rough for most of us, but I do believe there is some good to be found in all of the devastation. It’s a chance to really focus on ourselves and grow. It’s an opportunity to take some time to really just work on ourselves and do all the things we deemed we were too busy to do before. Now is our chance. So today I wanted to share with you five things I am doing this year to spoil myself and do things for myself I wouldn’t allow myself to do before. These are things that are going to help me, relax me, and grow me.
1. Having a cheat day.
Balance is something I think is super important in life. And while having a cheat day doesn’t seem super exciting or extravagant, I think it is a great way to treat yourself and allow yourself to just enjoy life. So this year I am allowing myself to focus less on being super strict and more on just finding balance and peace with where I’m at. So having a cheat day is something I am really excited to enjoy.
2. Having a spa day.
Getting a massage, getting my hair done, getting my nails done. All things that I would like to eventually do during my spa day. I think it so relaxing and it’s something I really enjoy. So I can’t wait to be able to plan and actually go through with my spa day. After working so hard and dealing with all of the craziness and uncertainty that is going on right now, I think we could all use a spa day.
3. Take a little break.
Whether it’s going on a vacation or just stepping away from my responsibilities for a bit, I think taking breaks is something that is so important. So this year I am looking forward to taking a literal break and actually doing something just for fun. Whether it is a weekend getaway or just a weekend at home relaxing, I want some time just for myself where I don’t have to worry about anything.
4. Going to a concert.
I have never been to a concert, but I have always wanted to. And hopefully soon the world will open back up and we can enjoy things like this once again. But I look forward to the day when I can really go to a concert and enjoy it. It’s something I have always wanted to do and I don’t know who I will go see, but I am looking forward to it. There are so many concerts I would love to go to.
5. Hiring an assistant.
It’s nice to not only be able to depend on to help you with the day-to-day operations, but it’s also nice to have someone you can go through this journey with. And that’s why this year I am looking to hire a full-time employee for Love, Geeky Girl. Someone who is as dedicated to the growth and success of the blog and business as I am. If you are interested, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what you are doing to spoil yourself this year. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
