My Motivated Morning Routine

Hey guys! Welcome back. As most of you may know by now I love sharing my routines with you all. And when I find one that really works for me and I feel inclined to share, I do just that. So today I will be sharing the routine that I use on days when I want to stay motivated and be productive. Which means you probably won’t catch me doing this routine on the weekends, but sometimes you might. But this is the morning routine I do everyday that I want be productive and energized all day!

Wake up early.

On the days when I have a lot to do or there a things that I want to get done, one of my biggest priorities is making sure I get up early enough and don’t sleep too late. It helps me start the day off on the right foot and make sure that I don’t fall too far behind. And a big part of that is making sure I get to bed early enough the night before.

Make time for myself.

Since I know these days tend to be pretty busy, I know that I won’t always have time for myself and probably won’t have a lot of time to just relax. So during this morning routine I like to take at least 20 to 30 minutes just for myself. Sometimes I read, watch a video, or just spend some time relaxing. Whatever feels right for me.

Work out early.

Depending on what I have going on that day usually depends on when I will get a work out in. On days when I know I will be busy and have a ton going on I know it is best to get that work out done in the morning. Because by the time the evening rolls around I know I will be too tired to work out and I’m less likely to do it.

Skin Care.

Skin care is so important both in the morning and at night. So my skin care routine is a part of every morning no matter what I have going on that day. It also just helps keep me in the habit. But I typically do my skin care routine after my workout because otherwise I will just sweat it all off and it will be pointless.

Time With God.

I try to spend as much time connecting with God as possible, and that starts in the morning. Once I have done a good workout, did my skin care routine, and woken up quite a bit, I like to take some quality time in the morning to spend with God. I try not to do it too early because if I’m not fully awake I’m not really as focused as I should be.

Eat Breakfast.

Breakfast is super important and it’s also my favorite meal. And on those super busy days I know having a good breakfast will no only keep me full and sustained throughout the first half of the day, but it will also give me a nice boost of energy that is always helpful. It’s also a great time to just relax and have some peace before the hectic day starts. Usually I also check my email and social media during this time.
