Life Through My Eyes #7: Reading Between The Lines

Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week so far. I am a bit behind this week from starting my new job, but I am here to provide you with another installment if the “Life Through My Eyes” series. Today we are going to talk about something that I have done quite a bit these last few years. It’s something that I have learned how to do really well because I have come to realize that we don’t always get the answers that we want or need. So I have learned that it is absolutely crucial to read between the lines. And today I am going to be sharing what that means and why it is so prevalent in my life.

Reading between the lines means different things to different people, but for me it is about looking in the cracks of every situation and seeing what I can take from it. It’s taking the various stories of my life and looking to see what value they bring to me and my life. Later on in a future post I will be sharing more in depth about my current situation and recent situations that led me here. But I will say for now that even though three months ago I wasn’t sure why I was going through what I was going through, I was able to read between the lines of that and see that there had to be some reason for it. And here we are.

It’s not lost on me that everything happens for a reason. I have come to learn that with every closed door is a new and better opportunity. So I know that reading between the lines and looking for the good in the bad has many benefits. But I also know that this isn’t always an easy thing to do. I have definitely struggled with not really knowing what to do and why I had to go through certain situations. I have lost faith in the process and not really been able to see the value in every situation. But most of the time I can really see that there are good things that come from what at the time seems like the end of the world.

I have traveled down some really tough roads. I have gone through some trying times. But I have also survived every situation that I have faced. Sometimes I survive only barely, but nonetheless, I have survived. There is nothing that life has thrown me yet that I haven’t been able to get through, so reading between the lines and continuing to build and practice that habit has really helped a lot. But I know the situation isn’t easy for everyone, especially in the beginning. And the most challenges and struggles you face, the easier it gets. But I have definitely grown to see the value in reading between the lines and looking for the growth in the struggle.

So if you are someone going through a struggle, whether that be physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, I challenge you to look at it from a more optimistic perspective. Trust me, I know it’s difficult. But I promise it’s worth it. Try to read between the lines of what is going on in your life and start looking for any value in it. Look for new opportunities, new relationships, or new challenges that will add to your life instead of focusing on the things that take away from it. Focus on the good instead of the bad. Try changing your perspective and looking to see where your life can be improved through these struggles and trying times.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what you suggest for getting through challenging times are. We have all faced struggles and challenges in our lives. Sure they may all be different, but we have all had them. And we have all survived them. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
